Perspectives on Haiti – Radio interviews

I’ve teamed up with Utah Public Radio to record a series of interviews examining the recovery and reconstruction efforts in Haiti from a variety of perspectives. The first set of interviews were aired yesterday, January 13th. The next round of interviews will air next Thursday, January 20th.

First perspective

David McGinty is an Adjunct Professor of Nonprofit Law at Villanova University and director Deep Springs International. Deep Springs focuses on establishing safe water social enterprises in Haiti. He has made numerous trips to Haiti in the wake of the earthquake.

Second Perspective

Josiane Hudicourt-Barnes is a member of the Haitian diaspora and is working for the Office of University Partnerships for FOKAL- The Foundation for Knowledge and Liberty. She was in Haiti when the earthquake struck and helped as an interpreter for the hospital Hopital de la Communauté Haitienne (Haitian Community Hospital) for several months after the disaster.
